Preschool information for the 2025-2026 school year at Wilder Elementary!
Welcome to preschool at Wilder Elementary. Teachers are working on classrooms and district learning and we are excited for the upcoming school year. Important information is included below.
Preschool session times (new for this year):
- AM session - 8:30-11am
- PM session - 12:00-2:30pm
- Preschool is in session Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. There is NO PRESCHOOL on Wednesdays.
The first day of preschool in LWSD is TUESDAY, September 9.
Wilder preschool will offer an OPEN HOUSE/Meet the Teachers on FRIDAY, September 5.
- Open house for AM students: 10:15-11am
- Open house for PM students: 12:00-12:45pm
- Preschool classrooms will NOT be open during Wilder Open House on 8/28
Please note that open house is NOT required, but an opportunity for families to see the classroom, find their student's cubby, and meet staff before the first day of school.

ATTENTION:
The Wilder Elementary School campus is closed to the public on school days from 7:30am - 5:00pm. All visitors with school business MUST ring the entry control bell located outside of the Main Office. Access to all areas of campus are accessible only with prior authorization.
During non-school hours, all visitors must have legitimate school business to access school buildings, such as scheduled activities, meetings, or through a building use agreement. Playgrounds, fields, and other athletic areas are available for public use during non-school hours but are unsupervised by district staff.
