Student Enrichment

Welcome to our Student Enrichment page!

Check back here often to learn about all the amazing before, during, and after school enrichment classes that your student can be a part of! Wilder works closely with our PTSA to offer a wide array of classes that will surely interest your student. Contact Kendra Bohm with any questions.

Registration Policy: To make our enrichment classes more equitable for all interested students, classes will no longer be set up on a first-come, first-served basis. All registrations will instead be put into a random selector. Students will then be notified of official registration once the class is full. All students who were not randomly selected will be placed on a wait list. Thanks for your understanding and helping to make Wilder more equitable for all. https://forms.office.com/r/Nief8qU9Sg

Scholarship Information: For partial or full scholarships to any of our enrichment programs, please contact Mr. Goldberg.

Refund and Class Cancellation Policy: Please note that we do not offer refunds for enrichment class registrations. Additionally, please be aware that we do not offer refunds or make-ups for individual class cancellations due to LWSD closure, teacher illness, or other reasons beyond our control. We will try to reschedule, when possible, but cannot guarantee a make-up class.

Wilder Teacher-Led Enrichment Opportunities - Winter Session:

ceramics

Ceramics with Ms. Hartwell (5th Grade Teacher)

Is your child ready to explore their artistic side? Enroll them in a ceramics class where they’ll dive into the fun world of clay! As sculptors, they will create functional and decorative pieces. They’ll learn essential hand building techniques like building with slabs, crafting pinch pots, and attaching new elements to their designs. They’ll also discover sgraffito for adding patterns, experiment with adding texture, create with two types of clay, and use glaze to make their creations shine.

Students who took the Fall ceramics class are invited to return for the Winter session, where they will work on all-new projects. This is a great opportunity to refine and expand on the skills they began developing in the fall.
