Behavior Expectations

WHAT I EXPECT OF ALL MY STUDENTS

 

• Follow directions the first time given
• Focus in and listen while others are speaking
• Raise hand and wait to be recognized before speaking
• Ask permission before leaving the gymnasium or instructional area
• “Whistle” means.... stop, look, listen and sit down

 

SPORTSMANSHIP

• I give encouragement to myself and others.
• I am honest.
• Inclusive and cooperative team member.
• Accepts calls from others without argument.

ATTITUDE

• I am positive toward myself and others.
• I am positive toward the activity or skill lesson.
• I am a good listener and can follow directions.

PARTICIPATION

• I try my best and don’t give up.

PREPARATION

• I am wearing supportive, rubber-soled athletic shoes.
• I am wearing easy to move in clothing.

EFFORT                                  

• I show high levels of effort regardless of the activity.
