Orchestra Parents,
As a reminder, due to accommodate the needs of the district Transportation office, the Elementary Orchestra program has been pushed back a week. Experienced Orchestra members can expect to attend their first class beginning in the first week of October (week of October 2nd) and Beginning Orchestra members will begin attending the following week (week of October 9th).

Orchestra Parents,
We are having a great week getting started! There are a couple of things I need to share about drop off.
· Please drive slowly!
· As you are pulling up to the front of the school, please only make 1 line.
· Doors are open from 7:30-7:40, after that, your child can ring the doorbell.
· I would prefer you just drop your child off, but if you do need to come in, please park in the parking lot.
· PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN STAFF PARKING, especially along the way to the front of the school. Staff members are arriving at that time.
· PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS CHUTE.
· For cello parents that are bringing a cello in to get tuned, it is ok for you to park in the parking lot and come in with your child. We will get your cello tuned quickly and you will be on your way.
· If you are picking your child up after class, you are welcome to pull up where you dropped off, or you can park and wait by where we come out. Busses are picking up at 8:30, so we should be coming out around 8:25.
Please make sure your child has all the supplies needed for class. Next week, we will start using our music stands. The Measures of Success Book 1 is not needed for a few months, but a 1 inch 3 ringed binder is needed to keep the handouts.
