Choir FAQ

Choir is a music class in which you learn how to be a better singer!  You not only learn how to use your voice more efficiently, you also develop your inner pitch skills better, learn harder and more complicated music, AND get to do it all with your friends!

Think of it as band or orchestra, but for your voice!

Choir rehearsals will be Fridays at 12:35p - 1:05p (during lunch recess for 4th and 5th grade) in the Music Room.  

Choir is currently open to 4th and 5th graders.  3rd graders can be considered on a case-by-case basis, but mostly due to the fact that they have lunch at the same time, 3rd graders, for the most part, won't be allowed to join yet.

Part of being in choir means that we will have concerts!  Our first one is scheduled for December 5th as a part of the Redmond Learning Community's Choir Festival!

Absolutely!  Every voice is important and we need you to commit to EVERY REHEARSAL!
